Drop from Vex Thal, Amulet of Xuzl, summons spiffy paladin epicy pet as it should. But the thing appears to think it is only there to look cool and does not attack any mobs.
Also, it is supposed to be a 'temporary' pet, where it fights until either it or any mobs attacking you die. But again, it must just think it is too cool to follow any rules and hangs around indefinitely doing a great deal of nothing, other than looking cool.

Like the live version, you need to have something in your target before click in the item to summon the swords
If you just summon the pet like a regular pet, he will follow you without do anything
And if you already have a target when you click on the item, yes, then its bugged

Yes, pet is summoned while I have a mob not only targeted but engaged.

I was told that something in the emu code doesn't let these pets work.

Yes, it doesn't work, even when you have a mob on target. That said, on live the damage of this clicky pet was laughable, it was more a fun toy then a dps or a salvage tool )

Well then, I guess it is time to decide if I need more inv space (trash) or pretend I am being haunted by a paladin.

I can't remember exactly, for some reason I thought it was a wizzy thingie. Not a pally spell. But spawns a flaming two handed sword, al a SoulFire, sans an actual paladin holding onto it. This leads me to believe it is a paladin's ghost that is haunting me. |

Was a wizard pet, that would engage things when the wizzy got hit i think, sorta like the chanter pet thign. but i might be remembering wrong, atleast wizzys get it as an AA purchase too, maybe my wizzy should test it out proper.

Tested out the wizard aa skill, it works as intended, sent out a couple of flying swords and was attacking the mob till they either got rampaged or popped out of existence on their own.
