I allow myself to open a new thread about the AA Air form for mages as after multiple failed attempts by me I suspect it to be bugged (other forms work very fine, thanks again Vinlar).
I never got it to stick even on trash mobs (tried in Innob).
Either it does nothing, and the hotkeys are not greyed out (the CD doesn't run), either it gets resisted and the CD resets to 8 min.
When resisted, I get a classical spell resist message about "magi doppelgaenger spell" (iirc).
My spells and dbstr files are up todate.
Did other mages, Dark maybe who was very interested in that topic, had more luck than me ? Vinlar do you have any idea what is going wrong ?

And they are awesome ;-) I just believe there is something which does not work correctly with the Air form, as I said, it doesn't fire off or gets resisted each time I tried using it, having of course a mob on target. I tried both boss mobs and trash mobs (attempted again to cast it several times on trash today in Inno xping with a friend), but something prevents it from working.

Not sure why you have problems with that one, on my end it works perfectly. On next restart I removed some of the redundant buffs that could be causing stacking issues, IE levitate, enduring breath, etc... from the various forms that got carried over from their original version. When I get some time I'll look into it a bit again, it's a super fun ability that I love, so I want it to work for everyone.
(RL is crazy atm hence my MIA status past few days)

Now that's strange, what in the hell is happening with my Air form lol...? And I switched from HOT to RoF2 client, so it's not related to that. Could it be a racial issue, something related to Erudite models ? But than it should also be an issue for the other three forms which work fine, I am at the end of my Latin, as we say in french. I will log into the test server to see if I have the same issue there.

I think I found where the issue comes from, it's indeed as Vinlar considered tied to any form of levitation which conflicts with the AA. I got same results on test and on Imperium live. It also explains why the AA got resisted in zones where levi doesn't work. I agree best thing would be to remove the effect part, sounds logical to me :-)   |

A lot of servers just add the lev part of the spell as a separate spell just in case you want to use it for the lev utility in some situations.
