Good evening!
About an hour ago, I crashed with my main acc. Since then, I am no longer able to log in with that account... getting some memory/write error when loading the character list. Re-installing the client did not help and my secondary account is still working as intended, so it seems to not be an (enitrely) client-sided problem. I am using the apropriate HoT client with updated files from the forum, NO other programs (eqw, mq, etc.) and up until today, everything was fine. So... any suggestions how to get this solved? Thanks in advance.

You mean that you hit " join " the server, the load screen loads, and once the progression bar appear, at 20% stops and then you get an error about memory cant be read ?

Can't be written, to be exact, but yes, it happens at abour 20% in the loadscreen between server- and character-selection.

Thanks!
logged in with the titanium client and deleted the recently created inky-warrior. Now I can log in again. Now that I have the solution, the reproducability shall be checked.
Edit: Reproducable. Dark Elf warriors seem screw up the code aswell. Gonna see if it also happens when chirurgically transforming an existing character. Edit2: It was not the race... had the same problem with others. It only worked after I chose another name! A shame... that was my old main's name...

There is a known issue with emu as a whole and not just limited to one client that crashes clients when 5 or more characters are created. It has something to do with the alphabetical order of the names of the characters. Not 100% sure if any progress has been made with this bug but im sure the emu community will sort it out quickly.

Just for testing purposes, I used to have this problem while using mq2melee.dll ..... by removing that, it fixed a lot of crash issues. (I now use mq2autoskills.dll instead)
