Acorn of Doom:
I know it was added before the custom expac gear was implemented. I have tested out several pet leave and re summons with this augmentation slotted in my main hand in the guild lobby with all 4 pets. It seems that only the infused summoning earring has any effect on the change of pet stats when summoned.
Test # 1 I first summoned all pets with no focus items.
Test # 2 Then I summoned all pets with Acorn of Doom only. (stats did not change....)
Test # 3 Then I summoned pets with just the summoning earring. (stats changed and almost doubled)
Test #4 Then finally I summoned pets with both items on to see if there a multiplier modification addition and no change from what the summoning earring already added.
When looking at allaclone you would think it should due to the fact they both have different id's and should carry over. Or maybe im just assuming that it would have. Checking with masters of code.
All of these test were done in the guild lobby. Now maybe some things don't kick in unless you zone or maybe this was a pre pet only thing for custom zones were added with the level 75 pets. Not sure with history but were you intending to still let the Acorn of Doom be viable with future content since we invested 1000+ aa's to have it slotted. Or better yet do you plan on making it cost more or other augs that can effect the pets combat potential.
I think for all classes that have pets it would be a amazing idea to have individual pet augs so you can mold your pet into how you want it to fight with special abilities, traits, moves so on with each aug you purchase. Why not have a velocity aug, or a special pet move aug, or a shield for pet only aug, so on and so forth. So if the caster wants a heavy pet build setup they can sacrifice some dps for that. Just a thought
If this was not intended for future content cool I understand and I will stop using it in my build. But if it is then I am glad to report the non change in stats and hope it gets addressed soon for all pet classes.
