What we need as wars ? More lifetaps? hahaha NO pls, looks like we need lifetaps like a drug The click from our shoulders that make our attacks as AoE attacks is awsome, could be an option to have it worn ?; As aug, for wep, will be nice to have one with a good dmg & lots of ac / hp and a good DD+hate mod thats all we need. I bet for an aug that fits on chest slot. with insane stats and a clicky illusion ( with nice graphic ) that give us an extra dmg evade / mitigation or something like this.

the big question for warriors is do you guys want defensive or offensive capabilities from the 2.5 aug. Alot of options for warriors in regards to how they can be played.

I like to play as a defensive war. A wall that blocks everything and let team survive.
A defensive aug that adds something like
Innate Melee Mitigation and Aggro Modifier of 10%
AoE clicky that works as an AoE Taunt that makes npc 15% more vulnerable to melee atks, and cast a +10% Unresistable Slow
With some ac / hp and Dmg stats on it ( just to add something else, nothing OP )

More warriors give input, really want to nail this one down so you guys dont feel gimped vs your hybrid counter parts.

Our Disc's are really what not only separate us from the hybrids but also allow us to choose what we are currently focusing on, offense or defense. Perhaps an aug that has a chance at resetting our disc cooldowns? That way if we get lucky we can Final Stand twice in a row, or massive strike more frequently, that kind of thing.

I agree with Vallik - as one of the dumb,.. I mean.. brave warriors who decided to box a cleric instead of a shammy - I have insane survivability, but dps is generally lacking outside of my discs. I personally enjoy the dynamic the discs bring in where I can swap from brick wall (well.. marshmallow wall compared to Vallik) to blender with shoulder + Massive.... The reset proc would add a bit of fun and randomness to the fight.
That aside...
A proc AE melee / rampage would be interesting, but could see that causing issues with accidentally hitting things we didnt mean to hit.....
Third idea - group heal proc. Give the option to let the healer focus on DPS or something? Not sure about that one, might just be turning us into pallies...
fourth idea - SLOW!! (or AE SLOW!) As mentioned.. I do cleric/war... so I take one hell of a beating unless I want to sit there and pre-slow with time clicky.

I like the idea of cutting the cool down of both defensive and offensive discs. I don't play my Warrior as much as some people, he is 80 but still not super geared, but I think you're right. Shadowknights are the offensive tanks, Paladins are insanely defensive tanks, and I think it's good for Warriors to be somewhere in between and able to sway from one to the other as need requires. I've never really had an opinion as to the position of a Warrior in the grand scheme but it seems right.
I would like to err on the side of caution though. I have seen some geared Warriors put out insane amounts of damage very, very quickly. I don't know how geared the other guys are here that made suggestions but I'd be checking to see the damage gap between Warriors and melee DPS classes like Rogues. If Warriors are able to chain their offensive discs, they might close that gap very quickly. It would also make Shadowknights all but redundant if Warriors could mitigate damage better and put out more damage.
Have to say I'm quite against the idea of giving them group heal procs, or slow procs. I'm sure it would be useful for people with the Warrior/Cleric box combo, but it makes other classes totally useless if you give the best tank on the server the ability to proc AE slow or group heals. Totally voids the usefulness of Paladins, for a start.

Perhaps an aug that has a chance at resetting our disc cooldowns? That way if we get lucky we can Final Stand twice in a row, or massive strike more frequently, that kind of thing. I like the idea, but just for the offensive path TBH, I use Defensive instead of Final stand, just for 2 things a) As wars, we can Chain Defensive without worry about anything that reduces our CD on disc ( it last for 4 mins and have 1 min refresh ) b) even with the dps reduction, your hits are still good ( remember, we are warriors a DPM class, not a DPS ) and if you have procs in your weps / puma, you still do a nice dps, let your healer box do some dmg and still be there tanking whatever you want

IMO, the "best" of both worlds for Warriors - in terms of offensive vs defensive, would be a SECONDARY only aug with the following characteristics: 1. A large amount of AC, say 150 to 300. If this is put into a shield, that is a huge boost in survivability, given that shield AC isn't subject to soft cap. If it is put in an offhand weapon, it is treated as a worn augment which still gives us a nice AC aug, but at 35% the effectiveness. 2. A parry or riposte mod (10-30%). Iirc, parry and / or riposte are both increased with a secondary weapon in. (I had it in my head that parry was *only* with an offhand weapon, but I can't find any sources anywhere to back that up). This gives a mediocre boost to when we use shields, and a generous boost for when dual wielding against an enemy that doesn't have strong strikethrough abilities. 3. A proc mod (5-15%). From what I've seen, most of the dps from this server, aside from discs/aa's, comes from weapon procs on this server. By giving us a boost in proc rate, you allow an increase to warrior's average dps without increasing our burn dps (which, in my opinion, is where the big difference between SK and warrior dps should be - burn dps). Overall the possibilities from an aug that gave these characteristics would give options to allow the warrior to emphasize specific aspects of play without giving too much power in any one area to compensate for another. - Significant boost to surviability against bosses when using a shield by significantly increasing real-AC. However, decreasing real-AC boosts when dual wielding so that warriors aren't OP against trash - but still giving a moderate increase in survivability against trash from the increased parry mod. This would give shields a definite purpose for boss encounters, while keeping dual wield as a good option for grinding (even though mass AoE is all the rage right now, I would hope that phases out ) - Moderate boost to average dps without affecting burn dps. The way I always thought about the tank classes is that SK's had the best burn dps, and could switch between best average dps at the slight expense of tanking or average dps with the benefit of more survivability. Paladins have the worst burn and worst average, but have the ability to heal themselves and their group, and could get their dps up to average if they stopped healing (also, exceptional DPS on *select* case mobs - like undead). Warriors could keep average dps without having to sacrifice anything, but were totally reliant on others for healing. They could get above average burn dps, but only if they weren't tanking and only for a very short time. Obviously, some of this has to be modified for this server to allow all classes to be able to solo. While I think a direct heal (not lifetap) could be nice for the aug, I think it'd be very controversial - either it'd become too overpowered, or it would be rightly balanced but warriors would still feel shorted overall. - The proc boost can work towards dps or survivability, which can give people the option to box something besides shaman / warrior, along with many other benefits (most of which I've already noted above - the box thing is just the only thing that came to my head that I haven't already talked about)

We already have a good riposte mod with the infused gear As an aug for a shield ... I dont remember if I used a shield as war on live servers to tank any raid target ( DW or 2H is what I remember as the most used items ) The proc mod could be fun, with all the pets we can summon now, to give us an extra dps, and if we add the lifetap augs, will give both, dps and surviability I was checking goblin yesterday, and as wars, we lack augs with dmg for weps. If you going to use 2h weps ( like sks and pallys ) you can get Slothlord stone that's not lore, and with 2 you will have 20 extra dmg, while as war, you get get out the way ( 5 ) vite of the dark serpent ( 5 ) and Fragment of time ( 6 ) wich its only 11 and they are all lore. So whatever you add for wars, just give us extra wep dmg

This is a crazy idea How about an aug that have a proc that summons a copy of our toon ? hahahahah imagine, 2 wars hitting, you can let your copy tank and die while you keep dmging and then another one pops and another one and you end with an army of dwarves hitting the mob ! then, who needs healers?
