Hello everyone ! On Imperium there is a difference to live in the way the client works (using your hybrid custom client) regarding pet and non-melee filters. On live I was able to keep my own non-melee damage to my main chat window and to filter my pet's melee and non-melee damage to a separate window for pet monitoring. I was also able to turn damage shields off to avoid getting spammed by the pet's DS reports. Here, for some reason, none of these are possible. Whatever combo I try in the options filters and in the window filters (by window filters I mean the right clic menu which allows you to force a category of battle report into a particular window, sorry if my English isn't accurate), I keep getting DS reports from pet (even turning damage shields off, non-melee for others off etc.) and I am unable to send my own non-melee damage into a different window from the pet's non-melee. Id est, it seems I cannot "split" non-melee reports into different windows linked to the source of damage (pet's nukes/procs in one window, my own nukes in another one). It is driving me mad And it is not just a minor inconvenience, it makes it harder to monitor pet and to watch my own nukes when everything is jammed into battle spam, especially the stupid damage shield reports from pet. Can any kind mage (well, or necro, hey...) tell me what I am doing wrong with the options and the filters ? Or is it a known bug on EQemu servers ? Elemental Greetings

I believe back on live there was a / command for opening a new window for chat/combat. Or it may possibly be on the ALT+O menu if I'm not mistaken. It's been a long time so I need to do some research.

Hello Jez ! No, that's not the point, you can of course open new windows (and then hide them), but I am unable to split non melee damage between different windows (my own nukes in one window, pet's nukes and procs in a separate window, and turning off or sending to a hidden window the pet's DS reports).

EQEmu doesn't implement this feature, unfortunately. It is a server issue, not a client issue.

I use the Hybrid client and i use 3 windows, a chat window, melee window and spell window. All works perfectly and keeps everything nice and neat on my screen.

If they could somehow impliment the choosing your same pet name like they did on live here you could filter it with macroquest...
