Hi Everyone,
Thought I would post these here for anyone who, like me, has never done SSra temple and found it confusing as hell. The first link is a guide to the original events on Live, which at least lets you know what you need to kill to trigger the events. The second link are some great maps showing each floor along with the guard spawn spots. From what I can tell after my first run through on Imperium (I did the Arch Lich cycle only) the need for keys/pick lock is gone, so you can safely ignore that part. You can, for example, kill Rhag1 and then take the shortcut through the Assassins room to level 2 (Note: I don't use warp or #zone with co-ordinates - I like to experience things mostly as they were, the tedious clearing included).

If anyone who knows the Imperium version of SSra bosses inside out could post some useful information that would be great. Things like how to trigger Blood/Emp (I'm guessing you need to do all the events first? Blood and Emp spawn normally - thanks spuds) and what kind of gear/level/AA you would need to comfortably take him out. Anything useful about the other encounters would be handy too.
** I was able to solo these encounters (minus High priest) as a level 62 Warrior (approx 22k hp, 3.5k ac buffed and all relevant aa's) with Cleric and Shaman bots, quite comfortably. It is probably doable much earlier, especially if you are boxing **
Hopefully this is helpful and good luck in there!
Vallik.

Arch Lich Rhag'Zadune | - Mana drain AoE (Hide your bots behind the pillars and/or the sarcophagus on his platform. - AoE? Single target? approx 3 second stun plus a huge knockback (I don't box and was there by myself so I can't tell if the stun/knockback combo was single or AoE but cast levitate on yourself to avoid the knockback.) |
Zerkizh the Creator | - Very simple tank and spank fight. Has a curse that reduces the healing you receive so make a #bot cure curse button and mash it whenever you see Balance of Zebuxoruk. Has a poison one as well which I basically ignored but you can create another cure button for that if you need. |
High Priest of Ssraeshza | - I found this extremely painful as a solo character. Clearing adds around the room is simple without pulling aggro. High Priest will, however, chain stun you pretty much 90% of the time. I managed to get him down to about 40% after 10 minutes before I gave up. Pretty much need to box/duo this encounter just so you can get some damage done. |
Blood of Ssraeshza | - Simple tank and spank, other than the snake add's. Ignore add's as they respawn almost instantly and just burn down Blood. |
Emperor Ssraeshza | - Has a single target curse that will slow you. Very simple tank and spank if you make a #bot cure curse button and mash it whenever you get the curse. - You can actually pull him down from his platform without aggroing any of the adds for a solo fight. - Emperor is immune to normal melee damage. You will need to either craft bane weapons or buy and use bane augments from the Guild Lobby vendor. - Alternatively you can rely on spells/procs to damage him if you can tank his dps indefinitely. |
a glyph covered serpent | - Hide your bots out of AE. AE is a knock back on live, I cast levitate on myself to avoid it. - Also has the chance to feign death you so you will lose aggro temporarily. As long as you are quick about getting back up and turning attack back on it is a very simple fight. FD can be resisted quite easily - first time I fought him he never got me once. Second time he got me with it twice so I can confirm it is still part of the encounter. |
Vyzh`dra the Exiled | - Another simple encounter, keep your bots hidden out of the AE and it is cake. - On live he DT's but I did not notice that on Imperium - maybe I just got healed too quickly (is anyone able to confirm if he does here?). - He does a resistible single target blind which only hit me once across the 2 encounters. - Also does an AE fear which I resisted every time - saw Shaman pet get feared though. |
Vyzh`dra the Cursed | - AE charm which is resistible so it all depends on luck. Keep your bots hidden from the AE and just hope that when/if the charm lands on you, you get stuck on pathing rather than run in and melee down your own healers before they can react. (I dropped my Shammy like a 2 dollar ..... in the first encounter). - Other than that he does an AE dot too that I pretty much ignored, it doesn't do much damage. |
Hopefully this is helpful and good luck in there!
