In today's environment, the lockout for the Renowned Raids are 7 days, while all other raid events are 24 hours. Due to server population size and time zones, there are 2 raid times roughly 12 hours apart. Currently, there are 2 PoN slots, 1 for each team and one (soon to be 2) SolRo slots. In cases of the other raids, players can miss a day and catch up the next or immediately when they return. Due to the weekly limitation imposed by the lockout for Renowned events, players will miss an entire week or the content entirely if the planned time does not fit into their schedule. While these events can be run by a group or less, there is a significant time to complete disadvantage to attempt to do so.
While I understand the need to throttle growth, the 7 day lockout works to limit the early stages of Renowned Armor. But as players reach the late 80's purity, the process throttles itself. As an example, at Purity 90, it takes 20 tempering crystals per attempt with up to 12 failures before a guaranteed success. Assuming average box return for the various events and an average success rate for a level 90 piece of gear, the effort results are shown in the attached.

What I'm proposing is that the Renowned Raids are moved to a 24 hour lockout period. This allows the option for players to organize additional events to include more of the player base and run extra events as they please without empty results for a minimum of an hour of their time. As you see in the above, while duration is reduced the time commitment is significantly increased for each additional Renowned Raid that is run during the week. Due to the extra time effort, the raid system will time gate itself in 95% of cases. Yes there will be the hardcore player that may be able to commit 4 hours multiple times a week, but in most cases players will not commit to that level of involvement on a daily basis.
