I'd like to suggest that items that are required drops for the various "Imperium" quests be exempted from the +1/+2 system.
The chances that anyone camping these items will actually equip them is approaching zero but since they can drop as +1/+2 items they are now rare items that drop from rare spawns and even when you manage to get one it could be a +1/+2 item that is useless for the purposes of the quest.
For example I was camping the Harness of Grey Flesh and after many spawns I looted a Harness of Grey Flesh +1. Chances are, give the server economy that I could not find someone to give this item away to and I cannot even sell it to a vendor for spare change. In the end. I'll have to delete this item instead of using it to progress the Imperium sash quest.
It's just my opinion, but I feel like I'd rather loot a rare spawn and get nothing than get a +1/+2 version of the item I need that I then have to delete.

Agree. Since this got no input or comment, I wonder if it wouldn't be easier to create an NPC that downgrades whatever you hand it. A +2 becomes +1, a +1 becomes normal, normal remains unchanged. This would also be fantastic for synth as you may not want a +1 item. Heck, the NPC could charge 10k per downgrade and be a decent mini plat sink if you put them close to the synth vendors.

What if the fee was increased to 10M per + (so a +2 requires 20M)
