Nothing is more frustrating than a Perpetual Dagarn Machine. Many of us have seen it. The fight is going smoothly, Dagarn ticks down from 1% to 0%. Fear, fail draw, CH. You spend the next 45 minutes knocking him down to various health points between 50 and 80, only to have 10 2s drawn. The mechanic of this fight is really cool, but the combination of fear taking away your ability to draw resulting in either a dead tank or a CH, and no limits on the amount of 2s that can be drawn saps the fun out of this otherwise cool encounter. This is just one (bad) monk's opinion.
I would like to suggest a change to this encounter. Treat Dagarn's Deck of Derpy Cards as an actual deck with finite amounts of various values. As he plays a card, remove it from the deck. I also suggest a few new card types, the amount of cards in the deck, and some new effects for those new card types. I have listed them below.
4x 2 - No Change
4x 3 - No Change
4x 4 - No Change
4x 5 - No Change
4x 6 - No Change
4x 7 - No Change
4x 8 - No Change
4x 9 - No Change
4x 10 - Bigger HP drop on Dagarn than 9
4x Jack - Spawn Drake Adds
4x Queen - Spawn "Mirror Dagarn" swarm pet. He doesn't draw cards or any of that stuff, but scales to the same as Dagarn as far as damage and HP go and despawns after 60 seconds or so. 4x King - Reshuffle Deck (Bring every card back to its maximum)
4x Ace - No Change
2x Joker - No Change
Thank you for the consideration.

I support this suggestion.
Depending on who comes and how Dagarn scales, we can go from a mild annoyance raid to many folks nor wanting to do NToV again.
The mechanic for the fight is OK, but onlyñĺĺif you've got some experiened/well equipped players. If you only have a handful of raider, and only 2-3 very well equipped players, it's tiresome.
Two nights ago we had 13 CH (a few from being feared and not drawing a card) and 3 jokers. The night/morning (USA time) before was almost as bad. Today we had 10 x 2, with a few ch from fear, including 1 when Dagarn was 0%. At least with the above suggestion, the "2" cards come out of circulation until a card is drawn to make them live again. Good suggestion Derker.

I've only done maybe 20 or so NToV raids so far, and a couple of them were doozies, but not quite this bad. I think these are probably the extreme outliers for Dagarn. BUT...I, too, support the suggestion of both expanding the deck and initially limiting the number of possible draws of each. Maybe not the Jokers, though. Those are brutal, but that's a big part of the fight mechanic.
