Getting a launch error using the UF client. Installed everything last night and played a few hours with no issues. Go to launch today and it immediatly gives this message:  I tried running in compatibility mode and as administrator but neither do anything. Any advice would be appreciated! |

try rebooting? usually fixes it when I get that error

Restarted 3 times, same error every time.
My p99 client works on the server (although it's got a lot of bugs, which is understandable) so it is definitely something with UF. I read that you can edit your eqClient file to a low res to try and get it to launch, but that didnt work either.

Only times I've seen that error is when I transferred settings from my PC to laptop and the laptop couldn't handle the resolution in the ini file. Going in and manually setting the resolution normally fixed it, if anything just switch from full screen to windowed in the ini file and then once your in game adjust the resolution there.

Start over with fresh UF install. Can work wonders.

try to delete eqclient.ini and load... worked for me

Thanks for all the responses guys.
I just totally reinstalled and its worked fine so far. I think it had something to do with me running fullscreen at my native monitor resolution (which is 2560x1080). Ive just been using windowed mode for now and had no problems!
