I am trying to do the Monk sash quests so I can do the Monk Epic 1.0. When I go to do the first white sash at Velan Torresk it appears the quest is broken. He never proceeds beyond this point:
Brother Velan Torresk says 'The Sashes of Order are given out by the various trainers of our clan. I give out the [white training sash] and the [yellow Sash of Order], and [Reyia] is in charge of the [orange and red sashes].'
If I say, "What white training sash?" He repeats the above. I believe he should move onto saying:
Brother Velan Torresk says 'The white training sash of the Ashen Order is awarded to our new members for completing a few simple tasks to prove their devotion to our clan. As you know, Freeport is a very hostile place, under constant attack from [orcs], wild beasts, and even the undead. To help keep this city and its citizens relatively safe, we must help the Militia protect the main gates. Bring me two Deathfist pawn scalps from those vile [Deathfist orcs], a snake fang, and some bone chips from a skeleton. Good luck, Flailz, represent us well!'
I tried turning in the 2x Scalps, Bone Chips, and Snake Fang anyway, but he just gives the back saying he cannot use them. I am amiable to him as well in case faction was the issue.

Hello ! I did this quest with my iksar monk a few days ago, and the quest is OK. Velan won't tell you the right sentence, but will accept the items IF you have at least high amiably faction. I cleared the 2 camps of orcs in WC twice, and went back warmly.
But I am stuck at the Headband line quests : no "a putrid skeleton" pop at north ruins of Qeynos Hills, even at night, even if I kill PH before 9PM =/ I killed putrid skeletons in SK, and in Befallen too, no quest item dropped (they are not supposed to dropp it, but wanted to try).

I'm having the same problem with putrid skeleton. I haven't see them spawn at all. Not sure how we are supposed to do our epic quest.

You can just kill brother zephyll or qwinn to obtain a RotLC...I understand the frustration if having to kill one of your own if you're role playing, but this is the only option until this can be fixed...

They can also drop the robe you need for the lost circle robe quest as well if you get unlucky with drops. I did that on my monk and the quest once you have that robe to get the lost circle robe is pretty quick.

The night time spawns are screwed up in qeynos hills for some reason. Ill look at it today. I did greatly increase the drop rate of the robe off the brothers, and their spawn rate. |

I fixed the day/night spawns game wide. The putrid skeletons will start spawning, as well as Varsoon/Pyzjin/etc

Thanks zepyhr! I'll try and check it out tonight. Now if I could just get Ekeros to drop the Black Sapphire! I think I've killed him about 15 times with no luck.

I just increased the drop rate for the blackened sapphire, it will go live tomorrow

I got my blackened sapphire last night! I did check Qeynos Hills last night and saw one putrid skelly spawn. A couple dread corpses spawned and the rest of the spawns at the ruins were either decaying skeletons, bears, beetles, bats, or rats. Do the putrid's only spawn at night? I kept popping in and out of the zone (while gathering other items for the other headband quests) so maybe I just wasn't in the zone long enough to get the right spawns to pop.
Thanks for all your hard work on the server. It has been a blast to play.

They only spawn at night, after 9PM.

I spent 3 night cycles in Qeynos Hills last night and saw two putrid's spawn. It was mostly dread corpses and restless skeletons. Are putrid's more rare to spawn? The two I killed didn't drop a putrid bone (they didn't drop anything). I was very close to just going and killing a Monk GM to get the robe and forget about the headband quests! |

Again: Brother Zephyl (Rathe Mountains) and Brother Qwinn (South Karana) both drop the robe (and often) if you decide to go that route...the GMs are a bit tougher and don't always drop the robe (never knew them to actually drop the robes, but the headbands / sashes)

Yeah I'm close to just killing the monks but I never did any epic quests on live and was trying to do this one the "normal" way.
