Are there specific spells necros use at 80 that have a lower resist? I picked all the top end ones and 80% of the time they all get resisted on anything Time and higher.

Unfortunately this is a thing for every caster class. The prismatic staff helps a little but not much. This is why the server is so melee heavy, casters just aren't as viable in end game.

Tell that to the wizzy's and mage's. Yes, wizards and mages can fire off their rain spells with an almost 0 resist rate, but even the maelstrom line for mages is 90% resisted, as well as pox of bertox (from shaman clicky pants.) DoT dependent classes (necro, druid, shaman, beast) from my experience (having an 80 of all but beast with full infused) struggle for DoT damage against GoD (Uqua and higher), F2 and HF. Not as many issues in SolC though, those things have like negative resists. My shamans poison line is hit or miss. Disease is 90% resist, as is magic. Now that I think about it, magic and disease (most of the necro/shaman dot lines) are the ones that we struggle with. Fire is usually reliable (pyre line, ro line for druids), poison is 50/50, life drains are 70/30 (but taps are almost 100%). The prismatic staff drops resists evenly, but it seems like some of the mobs have much higher disease and magic resists across the board (minus solc.) It does make playing them difficult, but if you find yourself a good tank, you have the time you need to rotate around and sink the eight ball right on the mobs head. My suggestion if you are box capable is a) box a paladin for tanking, they're the most stable with the least amount of attention needed, letting you run your dot train, and b) look at Alla or a similar resource to find which spells have give a hit to resists as well as damage. It may not be your highest level spell (shaman lower poison dot gives a -60 hit to poison resists, doesn't hit as hard but almost always lands) but the more dot uptime you have the more damage you deal, even if it's not at the highest level. Anytime you want to practice throwing dots at something while it hits me in the face, just holler at Ariakan. **EDIT** Something else I haven't thought of until now but I'd be more than happy to help you experiment with is whether the mobs with the higher resists are "belly casters" or if its just straight resists.
