Hi, so ill get straight to the point. Paladin lvl 70 spell "Ward of Tunare" is a defensive ability buff spell that is the bread and butter of paladin here. It literally is a game changer on so many levels. Ward of Tunare is 3 second cast base and heals for 2100 per proc with 240 proc charges or like 2 min non extended, whichever comes first, its recast is just global cooldown. Paladin lvl 80 spell Sustance of Tunare is the new updated ward. IIRC it proced a heal and then also a small 2 - 3 tick heal over time. Few problems i have with this spell here. First it doesnt proc the heal over time here ( dont care about this to much ) and second the recast time is now 30 seconds vs just global recast. The heal was increased to 2800 and the cast time of 3 seconds and the procs of 240 stayed the same. So basically for 700 hp more per proc you get stuck in moments where you can not recast, vs just having the ability to chain cast as needed.
Is there anyway we can get one of a few diffrent things to happen to this? The most basic one is having the 30 seconds recast removed so its simply an upgrade over ward of tunare. Currently its not really even worth using the new one vs the old due to the recast. Second proposition would be to just remove charges all together and let us just have a 2-3 min (depending on extention aa/foci) buff that procs indenfinatly. I really like the idea of the chargeless option because as of right now alot of being a paladin in trash clear situations is just spamming the living shit out of ward of tunare. If you took the charge count off it would really allow us to have more options of other things to do and increase the fun besides so heavily focusing on the spamming of 1 spell as fast as possible. Anotherside thing while im talking on the matter, is it also would be massive quality of life change if the cast time could get reduced as well, but thats just because im sick of spamming the spell with that cast time just sitting there, and waiting, doing nothing, ect.
Hopefully you strongly consider changing atleast the recast of the new ward so that its actually an upgrade vs only a situational upgrade ( occations where you are not getting hit fast enough to lose 240 charges before 30 seconds )
