I downloaded the new spell file last week and all the Rk1/Rk2 spells had been removed to make room for the new spells.
I actually prefer the option of keeping some of the Rk1/Rk2 spells and actually don't use the new spell file because of this.
Is this a good spot to list the more useless spells from the Wizard line that could be swapped out in favor of keeping more of the Rk1/Rk2 spells?

All gates/ports should be removed. #zone is faster.
all Imbue spells should be removed, as theyre useless here.

We can't remove the gates / ports. Think about the HC characters.

Why use rank 1-2? Do they have a legit use?

Yes, it allows you to cycle a spell that has a long reuse. I would second that. When I get off my lazy butt I will try to make a list of some wizard spells that really aren't needed (but would also not harm the HC players).

I think that Cold Snap Rk I and II need to be added back, and Beam of Solteris Rk I and II at a minimum. The instant nukes come in handy in a pinch and are some of the best dps when you can't utilize rains. If you still need to remove spells to add these back in, I would highly suggest removing the firetree familiar augment line, any of the jolt line (which I have never ever had to cast here), or the wizard animations.

We can remove all the create item>Mana spells. 80 focus runed spellcasters empowering essence 79 focus mass ornate spellcasters empowering essence 75 focus ornate spellcasters empowering essence 74 focus mass elaborate spellcasters empowering essence 70 focus elaborate spellcasters etc 69 focus mass intricate etc 65 focus intricate etc.
These are all used on live for spell research which is not used here. I personally would remove the 70, 75 and 80 Telajasz (stun) spells.. really nothing in game is stunable, but if you want to leave them in lvl 80 rk 1 & 2 could be removed.
