A thought... it may make sense given the loot in F Anguish to de-tune it a bit to make it more approachable to folks running it for Fleece/Orb and maybe to give some gear to an alt without having to ask for others to commit an hour to. (Understanding that certain end gear folks can get to Hanvar solo in 4r5 minutes). Food for thought.

Wouldn't that greatly reduce the player's who have already accomplished Prestige I or those of us who have Prestige XVI? Looting 16 Orbs is an accomplishment all by it self plus the hundreds of deaths we've all suffered there, it is a Imperium rite of passage. Besides, players are A LOT more powerful today compared to 1-2 years ago, so no need to weaken older content like Fabled Anguish.

Appreciate your insight Benji I don't see how it would greatly reduce anything but I do understand your point on how it could aversely affect feelings for those who did it a few years ago with teams and the argument to keep it the way it is based on those feelings. My recommendation would merely make it approachable to folks doing it today when the content itself is no longer being run by people. 2 years ago, it would have been daily content.. now it is all but obsolete. The fact is, people are no longer doing the zone and it makes it much more difficult for people to do since you are basically doing it solo... hence the suggestion to reduce the hp.

I understand what you're saying, but the content was created when players were in nothing but abyss gear and originally you had to have a group/raid of 4+ to enter. We have gone back and made it so you and an alt can enter if you are geared well. Many new players are not taking their time and are arriving at that content within a short time and if it stops them than that is good and they are gearing more to get past. Many of us find that part fun, we need to re-asses our gear and the fight and try again, hopefully winning the next time. For players that have been playing here forever we have had many adventures before ever getting to Fabled Anguish, some new players are quickly gearing in endgame gear and have not even made it through GoD, I recall a few in time gear dying in fabled time and then winning rolls.

I can understand completely how Zefirus feels on the difficulty level of FA. I don't feel however it needs to be modified. Having tried numerous times solo/duo (so many deaths) or running with some guildies, only to have a script fail to launch properly. It was more motivation to finally be able to complete it. It took a little over 2 hours to finish but I was finally able to complete it solo. I do have some end-game gear but I am by far not decked out.
All that said, where there is will there is a way. Could be that i am just stubborn.

Could be that i am just stubborn. I guess I look at the gear in the zone when I do it and it doesn’t add up. If the gear were a step below fabled time perhaps it would make sense…. It the gear is steps below abyss and the focuses don’t even scale to 80. Unless you are going in for a fleece or an orb… the zone is obsolete. People see it different though… prestige aside as I can go in and get an orb in 20 minutes. I mean there is legendary anguish

Could we maybe put a single orb drop on the last boss in regular Anguish? Make it a 50/50 drop rate, or something? Maybe it could be bought on the Ftacvi vendors.
