My Necro, Ajyn, pets default to sit when zoning and logging in. I have to manually get him to follow by clicking sit or follow. I have an SK, BL and another Necro and none of those pets do this. I am confused...

You can get your pet to sit (or stop sitting) with "/pet sit down" or "/pet sit". /pet stand & /pet stand up appear to not work on Imperium. Instead, sit is a toggle.

Getting to sit is not my problem. He is sitting by default, which means I have to either click sit ot follow to get him to follow me. None of my other characters have this strange pet behavior.

I know, I'm saying it sounds like sitting is toggled on - you need to toggle it off. Sit position will persist through zoning. Don't trust the position of the "sit" button in the pet window. It's not necessarily consistent with what mode the pet is actually in.

It's not necessarily consistent with what mode the pet is actually in. I don't think the default position for a pet is sit. None of my other characters pets do this. This is happening even after I have clicked the sit button and he is following me, when I zone he is sitting again. I have spawned 5 others pets of different lvls and all do this and I cannot figure out why.

Are you playing on different clients? I am also not sure what would cause the odd behaviour.

I have other clients for other servers, going to check if happens on those. This is strange but I will live with it if necessary...LoL. I just brought him up on another client and he has no problem. Gonna rename his config file and have game create new one.

I downloaded the Imperium RoF2 client again, logged in Ajyn with no .ini and still encountered the same problem. This would seem to indicate that some server side saved setting was my problem. The flaw with this thought is when I loaded the game using a different client my pet does not default to sit.
I want to thank Bupu for trying to help earlier. I guess I will have to live with this...

Did you try the slash command toggle? lol
edit: I ask because I set my pet to sit down once to see if it still worked and noticed everything you're talking about. It went away when I toggled it again, so it'd be odd if it didn't work for you. And yes, in my case, the sit button on the pet window also did not work. (This is also why I shrunk my pet window to just health/buffs and use social macros pretty much exclusively to order them around). It's possible that by some means, most likely a misclick, this became toggled on, and toggling it back off with the pet window button just doesn't work.

I have managed to resolve the issue on another character with the same problem." /pet feign " and make sure no buttons are pressed of course.
