Make sure you're max faction and a proper race for turn-ins or your stuff will be eaten! The NPCs will not return it, nor will GMs.
Be extremely careful!

Very true. Regardless of what people report on live, this server requires ally faction with that racist bastard Brother Hayle to receive SoulFire, which most likely requires that you are a valid Paladin race. If you changed your race at the plastic surgeon to be something better--I mean something else--you will probably need to change it back to do the turn-in. Just make sure you are ally. It only takes like an hour or two to get all the pieces for SoulFire, so it's not a big deal to blow a turn-in. I did 2 failed turn-ins and got 3 SoulFires in less than half a day of not really trying, and dying like a dozen times because I wasn't paying attention...

Race/class should not (should not, have not tested here!) have any bearing on this, I have done soulfire on ogre shaman/halfing druid/DE cleric/halfling rogue on other server(s)
Max your knights of truth, and priests of life.
Killing evil (corrupt) guards (EFP/WFP) raises knights (or priests, I forget) Turning in money to Lashun Novashine in qeynos (the front qeynos, next to hills) raises priests (or knights, I forget!)
Once both these activities are maxxed, you can do your soulfire
Tip:Sir Lucan kills should have super big faction hits. The above mentioned ogre shaman maxxed his faction in only 3 Lucan kills.

Not to bump a thread but I don't think this matters much at this point. I did no faction work (as a froglok, if race maybe matters, but spent my time as Zuul using the stone from that event) and all the turn-ins were easy-peasy, was 'ally' by default in every way that mattered.
