Defining terms:
"BIS" - Best In Slot
"Infused" - Short-name for second BIS armour.
"Abyss Infused" - Short-name for BIS armour, upgraded from Infused.
"Non-vis" - Short for non-visible - The armour that, upon equipping or unequipping, does not change the look of your toon.

Non-Vis Infused Armour
The first experience you should have with infused is buying non-vis items from players in the bazaar. The reason you'll be looking for them there is because they drop off of named mobs in soldungc and feerrott2, and you have no chance of killing them without a lot of gear. You can find these items often anywhere from 5k to 20k pp, they are able to be equipped at level 55. Just search for "infused", make sure your class can use them, and avoid the things without stats on them.
Vis Infused Armour
After getting all non-vis pieces, you'll be able to create the visible pieces of armour in PoTimeA. Each piece of this costs ~100k, plus the bazaar cost for one Avatar Essence. A one-time purchase of a 33,333pp hammer or needle is also required.
Before making your way to PotimeA, you'll need:
Once in PotimeA, a good rule of thumb is that plate and chainmail wearers will find all they need on Flint Fireforge, and the leather and cloth wearers will find everything they need on Crysania. When you open the merchant windows, click "Qty" at the top of the list in order to see the static items on that merchant.
Armour recipe:
Combined either in PoTimeA Forge or Loom, depending on armour type.
For cloth - Blood-Stained Silk Swatch
For leather - Blood-Stained Patch of Leather
For chain - Blood-Stained Metal Rings
For plate - Blood-Stained Metal Sheet
Infused Aguments
Prerequisites:
To create an infused augment, you need a Fragment from F2 or Innyb trash mobs, but most likely you'll get them from the bazaar, and a Swirling Sphere of Metamorphosis, which costs 240AA, and acquired from the Greedy Goblin in the guild lobby. To purchase Swirling Sphere of Metamorphosis, hail the Greedy Goblin, click "Alt_Currency", then click "Buy" to the left of "Swirling Sphere of Metamorphosis".
Each Fragment type will result in a different slot augment.
Diamond = Head
Ruby = Wrists - gives poison spell dmg boost.
Sapphire =Wrists - gives disease spell dmg boost.
Opal = Legs
Carnelian = feet
Amethyst = hands
Emerald = arms
Prismatic Hues = chest
Jeweler's = non-visible gear.
You'll need 19 Jeweler's frags total, and four of each of the others if you do not have access to Hates Fury. You only need two for each vis piece if you have access to HF.
