Alright guys, here's a quick & dirty guide.
ALL CLASSES
WHAT YOU NEED TO FARM/BUY FROM PLAYERS- Avatar Essence. Drops off of Dragons in F2. Thanks Yunke.
As per Aiywen's post, at 80 when it is difficult to find Treasure Gobs using AA's is a good way to do Infused. 420 AA's per piece or 21 Ebon Crystals at 20 aa's each (realistically 1-2 hours of farming aa's in Abyss zones). Make sure you reclaim the Ebon Crystals in your Alt Currency tab.
Plate users (SK, PAL, CLER, BARD, WAR)
REQ 300 BLACKSMITHING
What you need to buy from PoTimeA merchants: Drop of the Divines(x1, 33.3k plat ea), slot PLATE mold (plate chest is Infused Breastplate) (33.3k ea), Infused Smithing Hammer (one time purchase, 33.3k), Blood-Stained Metal Sheet (x1, 33.3k ea), Avatar Essence (x1, prices vary. Player/drops only)
CHAIN USERS (RNG, BER, SHM, ROG)
What you need to buy from PoTimA merchants: Drop of the Divines (x1, 33.3k plat ea), slot CHAIN mold (33.3k ea), Infused Smithing Hammer (one time purchase, 33.3k), Blood-Stained Metal Rings (x1, 33.3k), Avatar Essence (x1, prices vary. Player/drops only)
LEATHER USERS (DRU, MNK, BST)
What you need to buy from PoTimeA merchants: Drop of the Divines (x1, 33.3k plat ea), slot LEATHER pattern (33.3k ea), Infused Sewing Needle (one time purchase, 33.3k), Blood-Stained Patch of Leather (x1, 33.3k), Avatar Essence (x1, prices vary. Player/drops only)
CLOTH USERS (NEC, WIZ, MAG, ENC)
What you need to buy from PoTimeA merchants: Drop of the Divines (x1, 33.3k plat ea), slot CLOTH pattern (33.3k ea), Infused Sewing Needle (one time purchase, 33.3k), Blood-Stained Silk Swatch (x1, 33.3k), Avatar Essence (x1, prices vary. Player/drops only)
COMBINE in either FORGE (Plate/Chain), or LOOM (Leather/Cloth) for your slot piece of Infused gear.
AUGS (REQUIRED 300 JEWELCRAFTING):
Fragment of <X> Item Lore will tell you which slot, Diamond = Head, Ruby=Wrists (both available wrist augs are same stats), Opal = Legs, Carnelian = feet, Amethyst = hands, Emerald = arms, Imbued Hues = chest, Jeweler's = non-visible gear.
From Greedy Goblin purchase Swirling Sphere of Metamorphosis for 240 AA, combine sphere with appropriate Fragment to create Infused <SLOT> Emblem. When I'm not drinking and have more time available I will write up what each one does.
