Zones past Sebilis have items that are mostly worthless vendor wise. Trash drops are there but hit and miss on value and the best ones don't stack. One of the best drops for cash in the game is almost perma-camped and sometimes for more than a day buy the same person, as the bombs don't seem to scare many high levels. My suggestion is just make some of the better gear have a vendor level at least on par with the set drops from Kunarak (Cobalt, Donal's, etc...). The biggest indicator I have to use on economy level is high end crafted gear going for super low prices. I put up a trader now and then with starting gear really cheap as a way of functioning handouts without having to be there. Honestly the most frustrating thing is the one camp at a super high value vs. so little anywhere else.

After speaking with someone more knowledgeable than myself I understand the camps and don't begrudge anyone for working them for long stretches.

I think my grieg encounter has been bugged and people have found an exploit around the bombs, expect a fix incoming within the next day or two.

Just joking with ya. I've only killed Grieg once since I've been here just for the lulz. There are other ways to farm to which are way more fun.

I'm still praying that it becomes economical to farm plat from trash mobs. I haven't found SolC or F2 to be a viable source of plat at all, and the goblin drops are few and far between once you hit 80 with most of the content being lower level than you. Realistically, it takes about 15-20 mobs in F2 to make 1k, which means 200 mobs for 10k, and 2k mobs for 100k, which is one piece of infused armour. That's quite a lot of kills.
I can obtain plat quite quickly if I devote time to it, but it relies heavily on me being on during the off-peak hours because during peak hours, it's impossible to find a suitable place to farm. It would be great if we could encourage people to play within their appropriate tier of content by offering suitable experience and plat drops relevant for the tier of content, in that content. It's still necessary to go back to previous tiers of content to efficiently gain experience or plat, which is becoming more and more of an issue as the server population increases. I won't get into experience in a plat thread but I cleared the entire zone in SolC last night and only made like 2k, that's all bosses, including Zuul. I could do better in Sebilis.

Could we perhaps look at putting a vendor value on all the instance drops? (PoTime, Ikkinz, Inktu'ta, Tacvi are the ones that come to mind) so that people can say "ok, time to make some plat. I'm going to run through PoTime and vendor everything". Adjust the plat values so that the harder the instance, the better the monetary reward but you get the gist. At least this way people can farm their own instance without affecting others. If you made every drop have value that could be cool too but I worry then that you will start to see progression mobs perma camped just to vendor the loot which we don't want (like Trak and the Breastplates).

What Vallik suggested is a pretty good idea imo. Baz is flooded with the same 10 or so items and everyone just undercuts everyone else. I personally would rather just vendor them for a couple of thousand plat a piece. Tacvi stuff would be perfect because it's instanced so it isn't going to ruin everyone's time in a static zone and there is lockout so you can't go nuts.

I 15-20 mobs in f2 = 1-2k plat and 22.5 - 30 aa's without a lesson or exp pot. The exp in this zone is by far better than anywere else in game atm. The plat drops will get better slowly as we release more zones.

Just a follow up. I have read alot of comments about people bitching too much, and while I didn't intend to bitch, I have to admit my posts have mostly been about bugs and problems. I enjoy this server a lot. I am planning on playing here for a while. So over all I think the work done here is great.

I enjoy this server a lot. I am planning on playing here for a while. So over all I think the work done here is great. Yeah! No more bitching! But seriously, it's to be expected to hear a majority of issues / bugs / feedback etc on forums. Any feedback is good feedback. To add a little on the pp discussion the following applies to the next zone, innothuleb. Cash drop range from trash: 40pp - 120pp Accessories have a chance to drop from trash as well, and guaranteed from bosses. These are done a little differently in that a blank ring, earring, necklace, etc drop and you combine that with your existing infused accessory to create the abyss infused accessory (no vendor mats involved). These abyssal items also have a vendor sell price of 10k pp, giving players the option of just vendoring them if they don't want them, or sell / give to other players. The above pp change, increased xp gains in new zones, the ability to transfer aas from toon to toon (via greedy gob buying swirling sphere for AA in currency tab, vendor it and get pp, give pp to other char, turn pp back into AA), along with the shift of adding more options of using aas to purchase existing and future vendor mats, I don't think pp will be as big of an issue as it was initially when these last two zones were released.

has there been any thoughts too putting a values of say 1-5k on the gem fragments or a 50p value on all the epic stuff in F2 this would not be huge pp wise but would a encourage people to clean up their kills (a tidier zone and all) and would speed up the ability for people to bootstrap themselves gear wise and would still make the jump to the next zone a little less painful

Atrayas, it's a little off topic but since the point was made.
Yes, F2 is the best exp in the game, per kill. However, if you start looking at exp per minute, I still don't think it's on par with the existing methods of farming exp.
F2 mobs give ~1.5 AA's per kill, solo. It's slightly less if you are grouped.
Currently, there are people doing 1,000 AA's during a lesson burn, which equates to 1,000 AA's per hour.
To achieve that, you would have to kill ~700 mobs in an hour in F2. I think I'd struggle to do 1/4 of that figure. If you were boxing, it'd probably be closer to 800 mobs. I don't even know if there are 800 mobs in the zone, or if the respawn is fast enough to even reach those kinds of figures.
I'm hoping that with the way plat will work with the coming zones, the ability to buy AA will offset this discrepancy, but if I were to pick a place to farm AA outright, I would not choose F2 right now. Given the difficulty of the mobs, or the time they take to kill, compared to the amount of exp they grant, it's really not worth it. It's a great bonus while you're farming gear, but there are far better options both for plat, and for exp, as it currently stands.
It's not really bothering me right now, I've been quite content just plodding along doing my thing anyway, but if you really want people to start using the new zones to exp in, I'd probably make the comment that the ZEM needs further tweaking.
